Where are the drain plug or plugs to drain the gear oil on the 914A mid mount Boomer deck? I think the fill hole is on top.Manual shows no diagram of fill or drain holes..Could they be the Hex head fitting on the side?? Any tips on blade removal. Do you need that spanner wrench the manual suggests?.thanks

There is none. About the best you can do is to remove the filler/breather and flip the deck over. Remove one of the level plugs on the side to prevent an airlock. Best to let it drain overnight. Good Luck, RickB. ....

I used a suction device to remove the old lube through the fill hole.
